Value

As Christians, we look to the Bible for understanding, especially in its opening chapter, which introduces God as Creator. This passage reveals a powerful and caring God who declares all creation good, but uniquely labels humankind as "very good," emphasizing our inherent value.

In contrast to the world’s metrics of worth, such as wealth and beauty, the Bible affirms that our value comes simply from God's declaration. Many struggle with self-worth, often echoing thoughts like "If God only knew what I've done" or "My life does not matter." At VIP Counseling, we believe that recognizing and embracing our true value is essential for achieving personal freedom.

Identity

Identity is a universal issue that encompasses race, culture, gender, and nationality, often accompanied by pain and confusion. Just as our sense of value can be distorted, our understanding of identity can become muddled, failing to reflect our true selves. The One who created us is the ultimate source for understanding our identity.

As we delve deeper into the Bible, we discover God as our advocate, actively fighting for people and guiding them back to their true identity in Him. Many biblical figures lost sight of their value as God's creation, leading to painful consequences. The good news is that God offers a path to restore and strengthen our identities. Purpose

The desire to find purpose is universal, yet countless voices claim to know the best path for individuals. Each person is unique, with their own story, challenges, and opportunities, making it questionable how others can truly guide us. The key to discovering your purpose lies in understanding who God created you to be and embracing that identity to become your best self.

Many of us live with a stolen sense of purpose, often following others' expectations instead of our own unique calling. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy and disillusionment, especially when past circumstances have shattered our ambitions. The Bible offers a different perspective on God, presenting Him as our partner. Through various accounts, we see God engaging with humanity, sharing His plans, and inviting us to join Him in building a restored kingdom. Inspirations

Bristlecone pine trees are often found growing in harsh conditions and unlikely places. The trunk and branches of a bristlecone pine are scarred by fire and sanded smooth by the wind. From a distance they seem to be dying, as we get closer we find a tree thriving and made beautiful and unique. 

Much like the bristlecone, inspiration can also be found in unlikely places.
